There is so much fun in winter than you expected. If you are not afraid of the coldness, go out and have a walk, you will see a beautiful city decorated with white snow. We were pretty excited to found out that the pond in Boston Common is frozen. On the frozen pond, children chased each other, friends frolicked and couples held hands tightly. The laughters did not match with the gloomy weather that day, but they definitely made the weather brighter in people’s heart.
As Boston is marching into spring, we decided to feed ourselves with some delicious food.
The prix fixe menu at Harmersley’s Bistro certainly indulges us with a taste of early spring.
From appetizer duck confit to dessert almond panna cotta, we certainly had a flawless evening loaded with flavor.
Spinach Salad with a Roasted Egg and Bacon, Seared Foie Gras,
Goat Cheese and Garlic Crumbs … Red Wine Vinaigrette Dressing
Seared Sea Scallops and Foie Gras with Braised Endives, Baby Spinach,
Crispy Shallots and Roasted Lemon Sauce
Almond Panna Cotta with Apricot, Orange
and Ginger Compote … Almond Butter Cookie
Hey, do you guys miss us?
We have been away for a while because of our laziness, but now we are BACK!!
Here is the photo diary of our spring break to catch up with you guys.
And yes, we went to different places.
Puerto Rico and Mexico.
We had fun but I think we’ll have more fun if we could travel together lol
